This is a vibrant Fukuro obi
with 'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles) pattern, which is woven.
It also has a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'shou-chiku-bai' (auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom).
Lots of gold foil threads woven on the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, a couple of snags can be seen on tare end.
Some threads on otaiko and maegara(front patterned part) are missing by fray.
Besides, it has slight folding lines.
