This is a graceful Nagoya obi
with a design of 'housouge'(large karabana flower), which is woven.
Foil threads woven on the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Discoloration on maegara(front patterned part)(indicated as smudge) may be hidden when tied.
There are patinas on both sides of maegara, and will appear when tied so bothering a little.
Although not shown on the photo, stains on tare end are prominent.
There are other flaws such as folding lines.
