This is a graceful vintage Nagoya obi
with a design such as 'ume'(Japanese plum), nandina and 'kaede'(maple leaf) on jigami'(fan shape), which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on the design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
Embroidered part of maegara(front patterned part) won't appear when tied.
The flaw(A) is discoloration, and can be seen overall.
There are other flaws such as tiny patinas and holes.
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
