This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono titled 'world of Junichiro Tanizaki'.
It has a design of flower such as weeping 'sakura'(cherry blossom), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'ume'(Japanese plum), butterfly, 'matsu'(pine tree) and 'shiba'(lawn grass), which is dyed.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with woven 'yukiwa'(snow crystal) and 'matsukawa-bishi'(pine bark diamond) on sayagata pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on right front panel.
It seems to have been retailed.
Sleeve part has been longer originally, but it is tailored short now.
Slight discoloration can be seen, especially, on back bodice one is relatively prominent.
It also has wear on collar and smudges.
Please check detail photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, lining is discolored slightly and has a quite slight blackish flaw by fray.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
