This is an impressive Houmongi
kimono with a design of bamboo-like plant, which is dyed on bold 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
The sleeve length is rather long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.
Stains by fray can be seen on chest.(F)
Discoloration is slight so not prominent.(D)
The hole is tiny so not bothering, too.(C)
It also has stains, wear on collar and smudges.
Please check detail photos.
It's still wearable enough.
Please enjoy its refreshing fashion!
