This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with a design of 'susuki'(Japanese silver grass), which is embroidered on gradational background.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven ice crack pattern, and has soft touch.
It has slight patinas and discoloration overall.
Especially, patinas on maegara(front patterned part) are prominent.(4th flaw photo)
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they will be hidden.
The threads on right side of maegara are missing by fray.(5th flaw photo)
The snag on otaiko is tiny so not prominent.
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
Also, the fabric of the 'tare'(wide end) might be shrunk.
So that, a little bit of the fabric of the wrong side was pulled and came out to the right side.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
