This is an elegant Tsumugi
kimono with the "Heian nobles in 'Junihitoe' (ceremonial dress) design, which is dyed.
It has 'kiku' (chrysanthemum) 'karakusa'(arabesque) pattern on mist, which is arranged with 'kinsai'(gold glazing).
Small 'kiku' (chrysanthemum) design is arranged with 'Raden'(mother of pearl work).
Textile is exquisite, Tsumugi
silk and has a soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
There is a stamp of the designer on the right front panel.
The tiny stains on the left front panel and sleeve (A) , and tiny dyestuff (B) on the back bodice might be disturbing.
