This is a glamorous Fukuro obi
with 'oshidori'(mandurin duck) and seasonal flower such as 'matsu'(pine tree), 'fuji' (wisteria) and 'sakura'(cherry blossom) on 'yukiwa'(snow crystal) pattern, which is woven with 'karaori' (woven thickly in Chinese style) technique.
Its elegant motifs are designed on the thin textile base as relief.
Lots of gold foil threads woven on the background and pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven nested-diamond pattern, and has soft touch.
There are some more snags than the figure shown on the pattern.(indicated as fray)
May be, this piece was tied in fancy bow, folding lines are remained till tare end.
