This is a glamorous Nagoya obi
with kaede (maple leaf) pattern, which is woven by Kawashima.
The vibrant pattern with gold foil threads emerges out against the black background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a gunpai-mark(referee's fan) , which is distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers in Kyoto.
It has slight discoloration on the white patterned parts, but not noticeable.
The snags on otaiko(square bow) and 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are mostly tiny and not so noticeable when tied.
Though it has some flaws, it is in very good condition overall.
