This is a chic vintage Michiyuki
coat with various fan pattern, which is dyed.
It also has a design of seasonal flower such as 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'ume'(Japanese plum), traditional motif such as uroko(fish scale) and 'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles) on fan.
Textile is exquisite damask effect(rinzu) silk with woven 'temari'(ball for girls) pattern, and has very soft yet smooth touch.
It has slight discoloration by ages.
Stitches of right sleeve seam are coming loose.
Although not shown on the figure, there is repaired on left front sleeve seam and lining stitches of left back sleeve seam are coming loose.
As the figure shown, it has whitish frays and bothering a little.(B)
Stains are not so prominent.
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
There are some more frays than the figure shown on sleeve seam, back seam, stitches lower cuffs and side seam.
Although not shown on the figure, there are stains near right cuff, the one is liner stain about 1"5/8(4cm), and another one is 3/8inch(1cm).
Prominent stain about 3/4inch(2cm) can be seen on left side seam at about 3"1/8(8cm) from bottom, and tiny stain about 1/4inch(5mm) can be seen on bottom.
There are slight whitish tiny stains on back seam, bottom of front and back bodice.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
