This is a vintage hitoe(unlined) Meisen
Kimono with cute polka dots pattern, which is woven.
Red and stripes dots are so charming and eye-catching.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
It has shoulder lining but no 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth).
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It is hand sewn.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has a stain B on right chest part.
Streaky discoloration E are on both right and left panels as well as the right sleeve.
Base color is prominently discolored and has prominent discoloration and patinas on shoulder lining.

Because of the discoloration and stains mentioned, it is no longer suitable for wearing, however, it still is a very charming vintage piece for its joyful design!!
