This is a Houmongi
kimono with graceful Hishi (diamond shape) in various sizes and 'kikko'(tortoise shell) pattern, which is dyed.
'ume' (plum blossom), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'tachibana'(Japanese citrus) are designed in each pattern.
Gold touch and Kinkoma embroidery are accented on part of the pattern.
Textile is silk with glossy damask effect(rinzu), and it has soft touch.
Lovely 'botan'(peony) are woven on fabric.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Sleeves are rather long.
There is a small dyestuff stain, and cuffs are smudged.
Stains on left side of collar may not show when worn.
Some wrinkles are on waist and hip areas.
