This is a Nagoya obi
with eye-catching 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) embroidery with geometric pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Honmon 'arranged Sayagata pattern' is woven on fabric.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and it has soft touch.
Lining at Tare end seems rather curved. (see the main image)
It is discolored throughout (first photo below the drawing image) , and wrinkles near shibori(tie-dye) are smudged and disturbing.
A stain B on Otaiko is rather large and may be noticed when tied.
It has some other flaws, such as folding lines (fourth photo below the drawing image) and fine snags (third photo below the drawing image) as shown on photos.

Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very charming piece to wear.
