This is a charming Nagoya obi
with a design of tsujigahana-style flower on 'shikishi'(square paper), which is woven.
Main part is woven with Tsuzure-style technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The stains on the otaiko (6th flaw photo) will appear when tied and bothering a little.
Patinas on the otaiko are tiny so not prominent.
Discoloration from tare end to otaiko is not disturbing when tied.
There are other flaws such as slight folding lines. (7th flaw photo)
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its graceful design adding extra elegance to your kimono fashion!
