This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with flower on stream design, which is woven on the grayish ivory background.
Silver foil threads woven on the design and background are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The actual background color is lighter and more yellowish than the photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has smudges throughout the edges and some tiny patinas below the otaiko(square bow).(will be hidden when tied)
The snags on otaiko(square bow) are rather large and will be noticeable when tied.
It has discoloration overall the both sides.
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) of the wrong side will be noticeable.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), the stains will be hidden.
