This is a Shioze Nagoya obi
with 'manju-giku'(manju shaped chrysanthemum) motifs, which are dyed on the sedate colored background.
Fine embroidery work is added on parts.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
It has tiny patinas on otaiko(square bow), but not noticeable when tied.
It has more stains than indicated on the 'Maegara' (front patterned part) of the wrong side, and will be a little bothering when tied.
The patinas on the 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are tiny and not noticeable when tied.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
