This is a fabulous Fukuro obi
with 'housouge'(large karabana flower) on diamond lattice pattern on glossy gold base, which is embroidered with drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) and Sagara technique.
Gold foiled threads are woven on the lining.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
The snags under the 'otaiko'(square bow) would be hidden when tied.
Tiny snags on 'otaiko'(square bow) are inconspicuous.
There are some other flaws such as prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It is still wearable enough.
Please enjoy its fabulous design.
