This is a Sioze Nagoya obi
with spring 'ran' (orchid), which is dyed with 'sumie' (ink brush painting) technique.
The subtle gradation of 'sumie' (ink brush painting) technique makes this piece impressive.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has a soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
The thick lining is added inside.
Not shown on the photos and sheet, it has slight folding lines on upper 'otaiko'(square bow) and te.
It has some stains on 'otaiko'(square bow) and tare end. (no photo and sheet)
The stain on 'otaiko'(square bow) is tiny, and not disturbing when tied.
The stain on tare end is disturbing when tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), the stain on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) can be hidden.
There are some other flaws such as discoloration and smudges.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
However, please enjoy its elegant design for everyday fashion.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
