This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with chic 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) motifs on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps), which is elaborately embroidered and dyed.
It has fine drawn works (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through).
The fine gold glazing works are applied on the pattern for adding extra gorgeousness to it.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
There is a noticeable stain under 'otaiko'(square bow) pattern which could be hidden when you tie it.
The stain on 'taresaki'(end of wide part) may be noticeable when you tie it.
There are some other flaws such as folding lines, discoloration on the both sides.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
*The real color of it is a little bit yellowish ivory than photos.
