This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with 'kiku' (chrysanthemum), hagi(bush clover), 'kikko' (tortoise shell) and blue wave on 'shikishi' (square paper), which is woven with 'karaori' (woven thickly in Chinese style) technique.
Its elegant abstract motifs are designed on the thin textile base as relief.
The gold threads woven on the pattern shine softly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has a soft touch.
The snag on 'otaiko'(square bow) is tiny, not noticeable when tied.
It has also folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It is still wearable enough in very good condition.
Please enjoy its gorgeous design.
*It has slight smell of chest incense.
