This is a charming vintage Houmongi
Kimono with 'ume' (plum blossom) design on the 'tanzaku'(strip of paper) pattern, which is dyed.
It has also ice crash pattern and peony 'karakusa'(arabesque) on it.
Some of the parts of the design are arranged with 'kinsai'(gold glazing) and embroideries.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with woven fan pattern.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
The long sleeves are the feature of the vintage haori.
It has a 'kamon'(family crest) on the nape.
The smudges on the cuffs are prominent.
The stains on the left front panel are rather disturbing.
It has slight discoloration and dyestuffs.
The lining has some flaws such as light discoloration and stains.

Not shown on the sheet and photos, the wear on a part of the collar is rather noticeable.
Although it has some flaws due to its age, it is still very charming design which only vintage items have.
