This is a shioze Nagoya obi
with flower motifs like Weigela hortensis, which are dyed.
Minute feel of a material is expressed by delicate gradation of the sumi ink.
Textile is shioze silk with its characteristic soft and smooth texture.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on otaiko(square bow).
The stains and patinas on otaiko(square bow) will appear and would be noticeable when tied.
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are noticeable.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they will be hidden.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
