This is an amazing Bashofu kimono with rustic Kasuri
pattern, which is woven.
Bashofu is known to be the top quality summer kimono in Japan and the oldest fabric in Okinawa.
It needs more than 40 Bashofu threads to weave a bolt of fabric.
Textile has crisp touch and it is hitoe(unlined).
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded) and asa collar lining is attached.
It has brownish stains as the figure shown, especially, on the left front panel one(B) are prominent.
There is a large but slight stain on the back bodice.(E)
Besides, it has wear on the collar, patinas and a stain on the collar lining.

However, it still is a very valuable piece to own!
