This is a Shioze Nagoya obi
with "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) on 'kawarake'(tile fragment) motif, which is dyed.
The fine silver glazing works are applied on the pattern for adding extra gorgeousness to it.
Textile is shioze silk with its characteristic soft and smooth texture.
There are some patinas on upper and lower 'otaiko'(square bow) area.
There are stains and patinas on 'maegara' (front patterned part)
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the other maegara will appear.
There is noticeable discoloration from 'taresaki'(end of wide part) through upper 'otaiko'(square bow).
There are some other flaws such as relatively noticeable folding lines.
