This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with 'Kumihimo'(braided cords) and flower boats, which is woven.
Gold and silver threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lining is not added inside.
It seems like the original owner of this obi enjoyed many fancy bow.
So that there are prominent folding lines through out.
It has a stain on lower the otaiko(square bow) and a tiny snag.
Described as discoloration on background seems more like lightened areas on the pattern.
