This is a vintage Meisen
Kimono with matsukawa-hishi(pine bark diamond) pattern, which is woven.
It has designs of ume(Japanese apricot) and tubaki(camellia) on it.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar) and the sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Its bright purple color is beautiful and eye-catching!
It has slight discoloration overall due to its old age, and stains mainly at left front panel and hakkake(lower part of lining).
Also there are wear on collar and smudges, so please check detail photos.
Though it has flaws because of its old age, we would like real vintage fan to enjoy this fascinating piece of vintage!
