This is a graceful vintage thin Maru obi
with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Hagi'(bush clover) design, which is embroidered.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern shine modestly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has relatively crisp and light touch.
The Shiba(grass) pattern woven on its base has transparent feeling.

'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.

(It will be hidden when tied.)
It has discoloration by ages.
