This is a fabulous Fukuro obi
with a pattern such as Mikado, animal and 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'doukyo'(copper mirror) and earthenware, which is embroidered and dyed.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is done for the pattern.
Resin-like gold glazing are added is is background, and it has smooth touch like leather.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Its length is rather long. 15'1"1/8(460cm)
It has a bit of sense of use such as a slight folding line.
However, as a whole, it is in very good condition!
Please check detail photos.
There is not very serious damage for tying.
Please enjoy its sophisticated fashion!
