This is a casual Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with graceful hazy mist and foil design, which is woven.
Silver foil threads woven in weft yarn are gorgeously shining.
Textile is rather thick tsuzure silk, and has relatively stiff touch.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
The stains on upper otaiko(square bow) will be hidden if tied neatly.(It has more stains than indicated.)
It has prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in very good condition to wear.
Please enjoy this elegant design.
