This is a Nagoya obi
with a design of wave and plant on hexagonal shape, which is dyed.
The design emerges out against the chic background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a stamp and signature on the wrong side of tare.
It has smudges on the wrong side of tesaki end, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and pictures. (It can be hidden when tied.)
A stain on the tare end is large and will be noticeable when tied.
Discoloration of maegara( front patterned part) is prominent, and it will be hidden when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise).
Please check detail photos.
Also, the fabric of the 'tare'(wide end) might be shrunk.
So that, a little bit of the fabric of the wrong side was pulled and came out to the right side.
Although, it has some flaws, It's still tying enough.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
