This is a gorgeous vintage Nagoya obi
with glamorous 'zakuro' (pomegranate), 'kaede'(maple leaf) and 'ume'(Japanese plum) pattern, which is woven.
It has three-dimensional look with kawari-ori technique.
Foil threads of the pattern and background are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, the black smudges on the tare end are noticeable.
It has some other flaws such as a tear on the tare end and tiny snags.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately, it is no longer in wearable condition due to weaken fabric.
However, we hope you enjoy glamorous design!
