This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with a design of such as 'Sakura'(cherry blossom), kaede (maple leaf), 'kikko' (tortoise shell) 'Hana-bishi' (flower diamond) and 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) on 'Tanzaku'(strip of paper), which is woven with 'Karaori' (woven thickly in chinese style) technique.
Its elegant motifs are designed on the thin textile base as relief.
Gold foil and gold threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lining is not added inside.
The snags on the tare and near 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will be hidden when tied.
It also has slight folding lines.
