This is a Shioze Nagoya obi
with a design of camellia and young pine on 'shikishi'(square paper), which is dyed.
The elegant design emerges out dynamically against the black background.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has relatively crisp touch.
It is discolored overall, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
Fray bottom otaiko can be hidden when tied.
A couple of dyestuffs can be seen otaiko and may be a little prominent.
Dyestuffs of maegara( front patterned part) can be hidden, if you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise).
Also, there are folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy tying it!
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
