This is a Tsumugi
Kimono with abstract pattern, which is woven.
Its vibrant pattern against the navy background is eye-catching.
Textile is exquisite Tsumugi
silk and has soft but nubby touch.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
It has noticeable molds on the Hakkake (lower part of lining).(A)
Also, the 'Douura' (upper lining) is slightly discolored.
However, there is no prominent flaw on the outside.
