This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with a design of colorful diamonds, which is woven.
Silver foil threads of the design are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Real base color is more greenish than photos.
Discoloration and patinas can be seen overall. Especially, the crease near Maegara( front patterned part) of the right side is rather prominent.
Discoloration will show when tied, but you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), it can be hidden.
A largish weaving flaw can be seen on Tare end, but can be hidden when tied. (*It is indicated as stain A on the figure.)
There are several other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy this attractive design!
