with a pattern of picture of Tawaraya Sōtatsu

Heian period(794-1192) noble on fan pattern is woven.
The brilliant gold foil threads are suitable for formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Tare end is unpicked for about 4cm(1.5in) to check the weaver.
Maybe, this piece was tied in fancy bow.
It has folding lines throughout.
