This is a Houmongi
Kimono with a design of seasonal flowers such as 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line), which is dyed.
Graceful gold glazing are added to it and main parts are embroidered.
'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line) is dyed with shibori(tie-dyed) technique.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with damask effect(rinzu) of sayagata pattern.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Wear is slight, but smudges on the cuffs are rather prominent.
It has slight discoloration on the lining, and stitches near the end of the collar of the right front panel are coming loose for about 10cm(3.9in).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in very good condition to wear.
Please enjoy its graceful design!
