This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony) and 'kikko' (tortoise shell) on circle pattern, which is woven.
It has woven Tsujigahana
pattern on the wrong side.
Its gorgeous, yet sophisticated design with gold and silver foil threads is suitable to tie at formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It seems like the original owner of this obi enjoyed many fancy bow.
So that there are folding lines and wrinkles through out.
