This is a charming Nagoya obi
with colorful butterfly motifs, which are dyed.
Main parts of butterflies on otaiko are embroidered.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
It has very tiny molds on a wide range.
It has a whitish fray-like stain on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), it will be hidden.
