This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with designs of 'housouge'(large karabana flower), 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) and classical pattern on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps) , which is embroidered with drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) technique.
Gold glazing is dyed richly on the designs.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has a stain on the tare.(A)
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are slight and hardly noticeable.
It also has prominent folding lines.
