This is a Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with a design of autumn flowers such as 'Botan'(peony), 'Hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and 'Kaede'(maple leaf) on 'yuki-shiba' (snowy grass), which is dyed and embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added to the design.
Scarlet lining seen through the drawn work is attractive.
Textile is exquisite Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
The fabric of tare end is a little deformed.
It has a large and slight stain on the blank part, but it will be hidden when tied.
Although it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
