This is an eleagnt Fukuro obi
with a design of seasonal flowers on 'kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days), which is embroidered and dyed.
Drawn work can be seen on the design.
Textile is light silk and has soft touch.
Its length is rather long. 15'1"(460cm)
Maybe, gold glazing used to be added on 'kasumi'(mist) parts such as Otaiko and Maegara( front patterned part).
Glazing is totally peeled off.
Stripe like smudge near Maegara( front patterned part) is prominent when tied.
It has smudges also upper Otaiko and near Tesaki.
There are several other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
This item can't be tied, because of the prominent smudge of Maegara.
However, we hope you enjoy its appealing design!
