This is a Nagoya obi
with 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and pine needle pattern, which is woven.
It is a piece by 'Masuya Takao', one of the most famous obi weavers.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the figure and the photo, it has a slight horizontal smudge at 2.5cm(0.9in) from the Tare end of the wrong side.
The line on the Otaiko(square bow) is a crease caused by storage.
It has prominent folding lines on such as the Tare end, upper Otaiko(square bow) and Tesaki.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
