This is a Nagoya obi
with a design of elegant 'Shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'Karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line), which is embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added to the Otaiko(square bow).
Textile is exquisite silk.
It has slight smudges on the lower Otaiko(square bow) partly. (indicated as stain on the figure)
However, it is hardly noticeable.
It has rather prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although not shown on the figure, it has slight frays on the Tare corners.
It's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
