This is an elegant Nagoya obi
with plover and flower on 'kikko' (tortoise shell) pattern, which is dyed.
Honmon(arranged sayagata pattern) is woven on the background.
The contrast of ivory background and colorful pattern are very beautiful.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and smooth touch.
It has relatively prominent discoloration on otaiko(square bow), tare and tesaki end and on the wrong side.
It has a tiny stain on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
The dyestuff on the lower otaiko(square bow) will be hidden when tied.
