This is a graceful vintage Maru obi
with a design of such as powerful dragon, scroll and 'Sho' (a Japanese wind instrument) on 'kikko' (tortoise shell) pattern, which is woven.
Its bold design of vintage is eye-catching.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The otaiko pattern is set upside down, and it's to be tied in 'hikinuki' style.
It has smudges throughout the edges.
It also has some stains, slight discoloration and patinas overall.
It has relatively prominent folding lines.
