This is a Nagoya obi
with a vibrant bamboo motif, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Honmon(arranged sayagata pattern) is woven on the background.
Textile is glossy Rinzu silk and has soft touch.
A stain of Otaiko is small and seems not to be so bothering when tied. (the 3rd flaw photo)
Stains (A) are prominent.
If you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they can be hidden.
Also, there are a couple of other flaws such as slight folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy tying this piece as a daily wear!
