This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with a design of 'Ichimatsu'(checkerboard) and 'kaiawase'(ancient shell matching game), which is woven with cut velvet technique.
Its elegant motifs are designed on the thin textile base as relief.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and light touch.
Although not shown on the figure and the photo, it has some patinas on the ivory design parts of the Otaiko(square bow) and the 'Maegara'(front patterned part). (They are not so noticeable.)
The snag on the Otaiko(square bow) is small and not noticeable when tied.
It has some other flaws such as slight folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
