This is a vintage Maru obi
with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), ivy and Kanoko dot patterns, which are woven.
Its retro design of vintage is charming.
Gold and silver foil threads woven on the patterns are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Otaiko part is set upside down, and it's to be tied in 'hikinuki' style.
Patinas can be seen overall, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
Discoloration by old ages can be seen overall. (the 7th flaw photo)
Threads are fluffing by frays. (the 4th flaw photo)
There are several other flaws such as a folding line.
Please check detail photos.
This item can't be tied, because fabric is weak.
However, we hope you enjoy its retro design of vintage!
