This is a Fukuro obi
with phoenix, "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower), 'Kikkou'(hexagon) and 'shippou-tsunagi'(interlocking circles) on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line) pattern, which is woven with 'karaori'(woven thickly in Chinese style) technique.
The pattern is woven three dimensionally just like relief.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
It doesn't have a stiff lining inside.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), the stain on maegara will be hidden.
There are some other flaws such as slight folding lines, small snags.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
It is still in good condition.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
